I run Best Roofing Now, a veteran-owned, family-run roofing company in Charlotte, North Carolina. My dad Fred and my mom Shirley moved from Alabama to help build it. We've put on more than 500 roofs across the Carolinas, and we did it on a repair-first promise: tell people the truth about their roof, even when the truth doesn't pay as well.
Somewhere along the way I got tired of software built for roofers by people who've never been on a ladder. So I started building my own: Archie for AI roof inspections, KontentFire for content, Kynex for the systems around it all. I build them in public, test them on my own jobs, and show the numbers either way.
The Roofer's Edge is the education side of that: the show, the community, and the systems, for contractors who want the real version instead of the seminar version.

Why "the edge"?
The edge of a roof is where the water actually leaves, where the details matter, and where cheap work shows first. Same in business. This site lives on the details that separate crews that survive from companies that compound: start with the show.
